I grew up the child of an Air Force Lt. Colonel and a mother who was into organic food and healthy living long before it became fashionable. I spent my early years living in England, and a myriad of states in the U.S. before settling in Arizona. I've worked as a consultant in the entertainment field, a health and nutrition researcher, a property manager and more. I'm married and have three grown children and two grandchildren. I decided to start a blog as a way to share my experience and views with others, and as a way to communicate with my Twitter friends when 140 characters just won't suffice.
